Made the swap over to the Gen 2 and got her tuned this weekend. First with the 2.6 pulley and then the 2.4. I only made 16.5 lbs with the 2.6 upper and a 15% lower. Car made 720 hp and 698 tq on the 2.6 setup. With the 2.4 i hit 18.5 lbs and made 750hp and 750 tq on pump gas. Just for fun we bumped the timing to 23 and threw in some Sunoco 104 unleaded and made a pull. This is the one i videoed, made 766 hp and 760 tq. This is in 92* heat. My gen 1 setup made about the same boost and numbers, 747 hp 744 tq but i dynoed it in 66* weather when i made those #'s. Pretty damn impressive to make a little more in the heat we did. The reason i don't make that much boost is elevation. I will dyno again in the late fall for fun to see what she does. Now for the good stuff.

2.5 upper with the 15% lower in 66 degree December air. Perfect conditions pretty much.

If u could post the Weather corrected numbers it would make it easier to judge actual gains.

Here is the sheet from last time in December, I dont have the one from yesterday but it was 92* and humidity was a quite a bit more as well. One thing i will say that is awesome about the gen 2 is the the power keeps pulling up to red line and doesn't fall off like the gen 1, also the torque comes on even earlier and stays on longer before it falls off. I feel like i made the right choice and can't wait to get back to the track when it cools down a bit.

Seems like the numbers are a wash but the blower is breathing better.

If I'm reading this right, you made around 20 more hp and tq in much higher temps. I'm impressed.

My tuner is supposed to email me the run from yesterday, once i get it i'll post it as well. I don't consider it a wash, i consider the blower made just as much power in a lot crappier conditions.

The 747 i made before was on pump, the 766 i made yesterday was on a mix of 104 and 91 with timing at 23* compared to 19* on 91 oct.

Thanks, i tried to be as close to fair as possible. I did change from a 123 intake to the 148 this go round but besides that the only difference was the blower. The reason for the intake change is i don't plan on keeping this stock long block much longer and wanted to be ready when the time comes for more POWA! The real test will be later this year when i can put it back on the dyno in colder temps and at the track mainly to compare times.

Yeah, a 30 degree swing in ambients will take its toll :)

Down here we've seen as much as 40 rwhp with all things being equal but the Jan vs July environmentals. My car made 747/744 with 410s on some 93 with Torco with GEN II on a 93 degree heat. Your basic worst case scenario.

    Thanks for posting the results.

Yeah i run 3.73's so we get a little skewed from that but overall im happy with it and the torque hit now is even more insane and it was ridiculous before.
