Rereading it does sound that way but from memory I don’t think that’s possible with either. Definitely less chance with the KB as it’s taller.

Who will you get to port it?

Either BPS or Jay T 1320 Junkie.
I have some local options and I want to really open that plenum. It was definitely compromised for the S550 firewall and hood.
I never plan to upgrade on this car, as the Foxbody is getting all the love this coming winter to race next year.
Once the Shelby can drive to track and run 9s even on shit days, it’s done and just fine tuning from there.
I made the black line plus there’s 0.5-1” to go up:

Found his post. That was a stock lower 2.5 upper. But he’s at 4K feet so it was only 17 pounds. I wonder what the correction factor was being at high altitude.

I tapped out on gen3. Took offer to trade even up for brand new kb 3.6 with kb75 and intake.

Looks good, how much did you pick up and what was the pulley combo before and after? The KB TB is the way to go, just wish they would have made the bolt pattern the same. I know they didnt so people wouldnt skip right over their throttle body and go straight to the KB. However it might have been better to take that chance.
