I was referring to the class it falls into.

The Phaeton was in the in the same segment as the S-class, 7 Series, A8, LS, XJ, etc. The Phaeton had a V8 and could be had with a the W12 that was in the Bentley Continental. the CC and this are in the same class as the Fusion, Mkz, Toyota Avalon.

You ain't kidding as I think the big three are going to regret and certainly Ford on abandoning cars. Notice how all the Japanese companies never did, yes they either cut back production or eliminated not financially supported models but they always kept making them despite the SUV, Truck/ Mall crawler craze.

I am wrong, my bad. Now that you say all of that I do remember it sharing the engines with the Bentley. I thought for sure it was on the same chassis but different names but I am mistaken.
