So I recintly bought my 03 Anniversary Cobra and have started moding her up. So far heres what I have

MGW Short throw
K/N Cold air
Bassanni X pipe and cat back
A/F and boost gauge in speed pod
Tinted tails/headlights
H&R Race springs
2.76 Upper/100mm tensioner
Lethal Intercooler tank
Moroso Coolant tank
AFCO dual pass.

Now its time to make some power. Thinking of :

Whipple 2.9
60's
KB BAP
Upgraded wireing kit
JLT Cold Air
Long tubes of some sort?

Should that make 650ish and what am I missing if anything? Whats my best bet for clutch upgrade for this kind of power? Any feedback would be good.
Also whats the biggest tire I can fit on the 18x10.5s...Rims coming soon.;-)

2.3 Whipple will get you there. TVS or Whipple 2.9 will get there without breaking a sweat and torque will be near even with hp. TVS doesn't support EGR so if you're in an emmisions state it's not the best option

I screwed up with my gt and got a kb 2.1 which didnt give me alot of room to grow. Thats why this time I dont want to restrict myself on a smaller blower. How about fuel mods to get around 650 will the BAP be sufficiant?

I think I'd go for more of a fuel system upgrade than just a BAP. I use a BAP with a 2.3 Whipple, but do't race a lot. If you want 600 HP a 2.3 less headers, and a good tune, supporting mods will get you there. If you want to mess with 13 GT500, then a TVS or 2.9, 2.8H etc.

All things considered if you Autocross, you are better off with only 450-500 RWHP, as you can drive it without overloading the chassis.

In any case, I think it is a must to do a good HE with fans and the best radiator you can afford.

Going for 650 hp pts a lot on the pistons and drivetrain. I'm real happy with just under 600 HP. If you can rip up any street tire, on any surface at any temperature in first gear, that is enought for me.

I hit 597 with the mods from my sig pretty easily with the TVS! Def prefer it over the 2.3 Whipple and comparable KB's I've driven and been in!

2.3 will work and the 2.9 w/o breaking a sweat
i wouldn't rule out the TVS either and they are lighter on the nose.
as for clutch McLeod twin disc

315's fit no problem

Ya Ive got the KB 2.1 in the gt its been a great blower, I was going to go whipple to get something new. Not really intrested in NOS just not my thing. I like the 2.9 cause if I want theres room to grow. Another KB wouldnt be bad has anyone bought one of the 2.8 liquid cooled and what numbers are they making.

Just remember bigger is not always better. I am upgrading to a TVS2.3 from my whipple 2.9. The big blowers, if you are not spinning them like they should, they suck down low in torque. Get a blower to cater for your needs.
