Fully loaded. Love the lack of carpet and easy to clean seats in the Badlands. Already did some cosmetic mods, now it needs a level lift in the front and larger tires. With the 2.0 Ecoboost these really drive nice and the Badlands package just adds to it.

No tuning for the new 2.0 Ecoboost MPC engine yet, but I did make sure to get one without the dreaded GPF (gasoline particulate filter).

Gf has one. For what it is.. It does the job. I told her I want to tune it one day. The Badlands package is great for cleaning.

I dont mind driving it occasionally when she takes my car.

Drove it from AZ to Texas and back about a month ago.. was comfy.

Just these ****in ford recalls are no bueno

I had one of these recently for a review. I liked it. My only real complaint was the price.
The transmission programming is much more spot on in these than the Mavericks (mine stock sucked, but with tuning is okay). I am not sure about earlier Bronco Sports. I took the "sport" lettering off BTW. Lol.

The new 2.0 Ecoboost MPC feels strong so far and is much quieter than the older 2.0 Ecoboost. If and when they ever provide tuning, the dual fuel capability should make things interesting.

I did. Mostly because I needed an SUV more than a tiny truck. Using the Jeep XJ with a utility trailer for the big hauls. I plan on retiring soon and will pick up another toy. Hopefully back in a Fox body.

Got a good deal on trade. No loss there at all.

Nice purchase. I’ve always liked how the Badlands interior handles mud and dirt compared to the base trims. Getting one without the GPF was definitely the right move for long-term maintenance. Enjoy the new ride.

not at my post...
Bought my daughter “another” one after her base model Bronco Sport was totaled from hail damage while she was at Texas Tech. The dealer I had bought her original sport from still had 2024 on the lot, loaded badlands that they took like 11K off to move…

So they upgraded the 1.8 EB to the 2.0 EB? Nice change. And nice Badlands Bronco Sport.

No, it was always a 2.0 Ecoboost in the Badlands. The other models have the 1.5 Ecoboost 3-pot.

The Ecoboost inline family has been reworked with everything new except for a few minor parts. They call them MPC (Modular Power Cylinder) engines. They have port and direct injection. The block, heads, intake, you name it is all new.

The 2025+ Bronco Sport and Maverick have the MPC engines. The new Ecoboost Mustang has the 2.3 version as well.

Pretty cool! And for high $30's, not TOOoooo unreasonable.
I had to google ecoboost "MPC", I didn't realize that was a thing? I'm a little surprised they keep the same power rating...seems like with all that clean sheet design, there should be a decent amount of efficiency increase which usually = more output or MPG's? (Maybe they just did it just for emissions...? It would be nice if they could skip the GPF all together.)
I enjoyed our rental with 1.5 a couple years ago, for a daily. The 2.0 is definitely needed if I was to own one. But the visibility and comfort were both really good.
Now that its dual injection...E85 should not be an issue? If a guy was interested in that...lol!

Yes, the ability to do full E85 would be great if the DI and in-tank pumps are up to snuff.

The MPC does feel torquier than the 2.0 Ecoboost it replaces (thinking of my Maverick when it was stock). I believe they increased stroke across the board with a slight decrease in bore (1.5 3cyl and 2.0/2.3 4cyls).

I have not seen any power numbers for the MPCs tuned yet. I think they have encryption broken for the 2.3 Ecoboost Mustang.

Thanks for the correction. The 2.0 EB is a nice choice, for sure. I’m not a small SUV guy, but if I was, I’d probably at least test drive a Bronco Sport Badlands. It’s a bolder rendition, both visually and performance wise.

They also make a "Sasquatch" version...but I think the price is almost $50K...which is pretty steep for a Bsport.

While the Sasquatch does offer some actual offroad ability, if you just want the look, a cheaper level kit and tires is probably the way to go.

I thought this one looked pretty good so I saved the link.
