In my defense, i have a friend who had a part in that movie. Jonathon parks jordan. He was in a few scenes. He has a small un credited part in we were soldiers too. Cool story about jonathon, he gave up a rising career in acting to become a worship leader pastor at my church. Hes the band leader. He was in a few chic flicks and played a charactor in the show dawsons creek. I admire him for walking away and following his heart.

Not a movie but Band of Brothers was by far the best war movie/saga I've ever seen

this. i can only watch a few episodes before its too sad. watching those men break down when talking about their bothers gets me everytime.

WW2 movie - Fury

My favs:
Generation Kill
Apocalypse Now
Bridge Too Far
Full Metal Jacket

We Were Soliders because my Dad and the California National Guard where extras in the film and it's pretty cool seeing people you know play army where they would actually play army (Fort Hunter Liggett)

A few others that I would recommend for those that haven't seen them:

The Siege of Jadotville (2016)
Kilo Two Bravo (2014)
Hyena Road (2015)

Already a bunch on here I would've named. A couple I didn't see that I also like, I may have missed them:

Von Ryan's Express

Indeed. Everyone has mentioned great movies and I'm surprised Glory didn't get mentioned until page 3.
