Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Nothing crazy planned just the norm: pulley, intake exhaust. Do you guys keep the stock wheels too? I want some CP21s or SK1s but selling my wheels would fund a lot of the new ones. Not tight on money but would rather sell them if they wouldn't bring me much when selling the car in the future.
Sell em. Most buyers prefer an aftermarket wheel.

Check out this link. There is the correct part number for those mats they look like the ones that were sold on as fakes on ebay. I don't believe that style ever came with the 03/04 cars but they did on 96-98 cars. The badges looked to be glued on.

Sam, i dont see a link to the part numbers.

Put the new wheel and tire setup on. Looks like the new nittos are 1/2” wider than the mt et street r’s.

Rears are these. What’s the ongoing price for these things if they’re authentic ? I’ll post part numbers soon

Prices vary depending on condition of course. I’ve seen mint sets sell for $200-450 and slightly to moderately used sets $100-300. Finally got a chance to pull my nos set out for some pics. This set is dated may of 2004. Nomenclature on the back should read “1R3Z-6313300-BAB >PVC>PA66” after the ford logo and date markings. Rears and fronts share the exact same numbers btw. I’ve seen on the counterfeits that they do a terrible job on the placement of the snake and the quality (mainly the thickness of the mats) is a dead giveaway. Keep us posted!

Thank you-

So what is the DEAL with these? They were Ford parts counter mats i assume and never came as stock mats on any variations of these cars?

sold through ford racing catalog and parts counters in that era. They were never factory just an extremely popular day 2 mod for the OG cobros. Another mat of note from that era as well was the "ford racing" embroidered mat. It looked identical in color and quality just with the FR logo in the cobras place.

Gave it a much needed wash. Paint isn’t perfect but it cleans up. Probably do the interior later. Have an idler or belt squeak to take care of. Put some new cobras on the fenders too.

That's a nice near stock Cobra. and only 3K miles! How many miles on yours? She's one beautiful beast.
Mines near too many for my taste, almost 50K . The other Cobra owner had a pretty cool story after talking to him about his ride. He’s had a couple ‘93 Cobras, Z06s. I should have asked if he’s a member on here.
