You want to borrow my coolant filler that sucks it down to a vacuum so there is no air pockets ? I’ll send it to you if you want.
I appreciate it but I have one. I used it for the first fill when I put the motor in but didn’t know if it can be used if there’s coolant in the system already. I just used a funnel and burped it that way.

As long as it's not full you can. It'll suck some of the coolant out as it pulls the vacuum.

That's awesome!! Glad you were able to finish.

I wouldn't be able to haul enough E85 to be able to do that.

Drove out from denver to springfield, MO on 91. Switched to e85 about 100 miles out of springfield. Then ran all of route 66 on e85 with careful planning of fuel stops. I carried 4 jugs and at any giving time only used 2 plus what was in the car. Being flex fuel and able to just pump n go was a life saver.

what class were you running? Im assuming its the same as all their other events.

also one of my favorite things about a cross over delete is that burping is a snap, no issues whatsoever

For the one off events like death week and now sick 66 there are no classes. Its everyone against everyone. fastest overall wins it.

I can't be competitive in any class so I just run bullseye and go for the hell of it. I wish they had 11.49 and under and 11.50 and slower for some of the classes (ie stick shift)

Killmat in the trunk, new bilsteins, new battery.

I’m waiting on the diff stud kit from Eddie Drift, and the stifflers trans mount and driveshaft loop.

I have the control arms all drilled and tapped, grease fitting installed, all the bushings are in. Just need some time to put the IRS back together. Hopefully this week I can knock it out.

Nice. I'm full time E85, so that would be difficult for me. My state only has 6 E-85 pumps in it, and 3 are close enough to me its not a big deal to run it. I have 8 VP cans I fill and have at the house, so about 50 gallons.

If I'm going anywhere over 150 miles, I bring a jug or 2 with to make sure I can make it back.

Do you put any e85 stabilizer in your cans? I typically do when I fill my 5 gallon cans up but wasn’t sure what other folks do…

Nope. I store them up to 6-8 months at a time and they still test the same every time I’ve checked. I make sure the caps are tightly sealed and I have no issues with it. Been doing this since 2018 and never had any issues.

Cool. I’ve seen stablizer in E85 cause gelling in tanks but I’ve never seen that in my stuff. I won’t be as OCD about it then.
