How much did this run you? I have an 08 SE myself and love it. My headlights are starting to yellow.

I found a set of Ford headlamps new on eBay for like a little over 200 and they came with light bulbs. This was about 3 years ago thou. Made a huge difference.

Hard to go wrong with a focus, civic, or an accord.

My 2010 focus has 176k rock solid miles on it. Biggest issue I have had with it was spark plug tip broke off, which I don't blame on the car lol.

I'm also looking for a cheap dd. Anyone have any experience with a 08-10 Malibu? There is a ton around here with low miles for cheap.

Didn't they get used for cop cars a lot? Have to be reliable if so.

We picked up an 08 Camry (manual) with 130k on the clock for $5k. It came with an extra set of tires and it's in really damn good shape.

I was driving it the other day and I realized I have no concern about driving it any distance.

They may be boring as ****, but they are good cars.

The headlights were $190 on Amazon, and I bought a DDM mini H1 bixenon kit for $75 on Amazon as well.
Only other thing I bought were Morimoto butyl and Motoho1ders for the bulbs.

Here's a few pics I took today. It's raining out and the car is dirty though.

And a couple for those inquiring about the projector retrofit.

I daily a 06 b2300. Only thing i did to it was retrofit headlights. You can pick up rangers for 3-5k if you are patient. Well....around here at least from private sellers.

Not worried about looks or special features of any kind besides automatic trans, AC and heat. Thoughts?
My last DD was a 1998 Buick LeSabre. Paid $1,100 for it with 175K miles. Had it for 6 years. Sold it for $250 with 353K miles. Smoothest riding, reliable, 30+/- mpg, ugliest car I've ever owned. Would buy another in a heart-beat.
