How many of you guys have a Bug Out Bag prepped and ready? What is in it?
Everyone should have a survival plan in place. Stock food and water in your home. Just build up supplies over time.

I have a personal bag ready as well as one for my family and animals.

Swiss Army Knife
MOLLE shotgun Shell holder full of buckshot

Woodland Camo Bandanna
Powerbars
Waterproof strike anywhere matches in OD green waterproof case
Magnesium Flint Striker
Whistle
Signaling Mirror
Small Folding Saw
Basic First Aid Kit
Muti-Tool
Flashlight
Canteen
Small Field Glasses

I would be taking my Model 12 Winchester (Police)

Large First Aid kit
Survival Knife

LED lite
Muti-tool
22. cal Ammo
Browning 22. cal Pistol

Large Flashlight

Large Box of 7.62x39 ammo
Extra Lighters

Most people don't have anything in the case of a SHTF scenario. Especially younger people. I am glad to see you have some things ready.

We don't have a bag prepared at all times, but I do throw something together that is fairly similar when we travel in the winter in case something happens. We should probably have a plan. It's better to have something like that and not need it than need it and not have it.

I have something similar, mostly for tornados/floods that is pretty much just MREs, Clif bars, water, clothes, and a trauma kit.

I'd like to critique your bag, add a American Flag and a copy of the Constitution. ;)

My Mosin, and an apartment complex full of people who arent armed, nestled in a city in california. Easy pickins.

My survival plan is to prey on others without and join those with.

We used to do this over and over in the Marines. Of course part of our plan was to take belt fed weapons and simply eliminate our competition for resources, but now things are a bit different.

I have everything you listed somewhere around the house. Now that I'm slightly more family driven I'm gearing more for power outtages and severe weather. In the winter time nothing really beats the reliability of a kerosene heater (obviously if you have fuel supplies). Beyond not freezing to death your primary concerns are food and fresh water.

Weapons are a non issue in our household.

I currently don't have anything really put together yet, but I want to get one setup in the near future...of course my wife thinks I'm a loon for wanting to do so. But, then again, I was raised by a Vietnam Vet Marine.
