Hi Guys,

I have been searching online, and I am wondering if anyone knows a credible reference point to find out what specific rods, rod bolts and pistons are utilzed in a Ford GT. From what I have read, I believe they utilize a Manley H-Beam rod and ARP 2000 bolts. Can anyone verify that this is correct?

Anyone know what pistons are utilized?

Thanks

They actually use Manley billet I beam rods. Not H beams like SVT used in the Cobra.

ARP 2k rod bolts. Not 8740 chromoly like used in the SVT Cobra.

Mahle pistons although I'm not absolutely positive about that as I haven't actually held any to compare.

I appreciate the response. Do you have a link to the source you are utilizing that confirms a Ford GT utilizes I beam rods. Here is a link to one of the sources I rely upon that leads me to believe they utilize H beam rods:

Now that's I think of it, the engine I saw had been rebuilt so the I beams I referred to likely weren't original to the car.
