The first set of MT's worked and lasted great. The second set (after they chnged the compound due to molding issues) hook great for a while and then shredded quickly after that. I'm trying the Hoosier QTP's next.
I ran the second half of my season (250 runs) on the 275/40R 17 BFG drag radial 2.
First of all if I were using these tires only at the drag strip I would go with a 16" rim to get more sidewall.
While my 60ft. times went as low as 1.82 the guys on the M/T ET Street radials were around 1.7s' and the guys on the M/T ET Streets were in the 1.6s'. Track prep is everything with drag radials.
