Which is faster? 04 Z06 or new C6?

Common sense would tell me the '04 Z06 would be a little faster than the new C6 because of weight.......what are the magazines saying?

I can't find my magazine right now, however, all of the mags covered the C6 this month - Motor Trend test put the new C6 right between the current C5 and Z06.

The C6 is faster. The Z06 is quicker and handles better.

New C6 has the fastest top speed of any vette, z06 is quicker in 0-60 and 1/4 mile. Handles better too, so probably quicker in a road race.
