Which Mach 1 Exhaust sounds the best???

i put a upr o/r x pipe and straght pipes :shrug: everybody thinks i got full exhaust:dw:
Its all personal preference, personally I like SLP LM1s and others absolutely hate SLP products. There are a few threads with exhaust clips on this site and M1R plus youtube and streetfire has exhaust videos too. Just start watching (or listening) and see what you like best. As far as gains I believe catbacks are all about the same, but if you choose a X or H pipe will determine the sound- there is a small difference in pitch. Generally speaking H-pipes tend to give better low end-power/torque, X-pipes tend to give better high end-power.

I think an off road x pipe with 40 series flowmasters is the best sound on the 4v's, just my opinion. I would also suggest an or x and mac catback. Here is mine....

Catted X and Borla Stingers is the best combo Ive heard, hence why I baught it!
Magnaflows sound very good, but I think Flowmasters sound like garbage, but thats just me.

i hate exhaust threads..everyone is going to think a different set-up is the best..all a matter of opinion and personal taste...
borla sounds too much like a truck exhaust to me with a catted mid pipe but to each his own....
I don't hate theses threads cause i LOVE listening to everyones exhaust set ups. But I agree with you where its personal preference. I had SLP LM2's with a upr O/R X on my 99 Cobra and LOVED it. I have flows with the same O/R X and I can't stand the sound. not loud enough.
I like Mac here is a vid of mine with Mac LT's, catted H and Mac catback. Now I have an O/F Prochamber on instead of the catted H it is bad ass and I love it. I would like to here an O/F H with it though.

I like how the O/R X with Flow's sounds... I'm going back to that soon as I get an X pipe.
I personally questioned my LM1;s and catted x, but when I heard my friend drive my car it sounded awesome.
I loved the sound of both my exhausts. So.....?...IDK.

O/R X with the Bassani CB...best sounding combo on any mustang.

I put spintech race muffs with a bbk x-pipe on my gf's mach and it sounds great. Kind of has the same sound as the borla stingers
