Which power adder? Probably a no brainer in my situation

I have a P1SC-1H with a 96-98 Cobra bracket for $2k. Just need intercooler, BOV, and piping.

And I am local. Lol

we would normally do a vortech/ paxton or procharger on those cars

only real question i have would be on the install. I did a vortech on my old 96 by myself and survived on medium mechanical aptitude. Only thing here is the intercooler. Does it make difficulty level go up much? Things fit decent or "needs tweaking?" I figure only other stuff I'll need is a 255lph fuel pump, 42lb injectors and probably a mass air meter and tuner. But the install is the part I really want to save money on if I feel I can do it.

Intercooler shouldn’t be a big deal (I’m assuming the kit is for a car like yours)

not a big deal at all, few bolts on the intercooler and then the piping runs through it
