Which lowering springs are the best to buy?

I'm looking for the biggest drop I can get away with. (appx. 2")

Let me know which ones you guys have, and if you recommend them!

    Thanks!

Going that far might require a bump steer kit as well.

    2 inch drop

Be careful. You will srew up bumpsteer, you'll need offset rack bushings, and you'll need to adjust the pinion angle (at rear diff).

I have had good luck with FRPP springs on a '94 and '97 cobra.

I have always heard that H&R's are the best. Thats what I am going to get. But I don't think that they offer a 2'inch drop. Intrax springs offer a 2' inch drop I believe, but I hear that they are a bit ruffer ride.

Your right, H&R doesn't offer 2 inch drop...I have 1 1/2 inch all around and it still looks nice, people always compliment my Cobra. (Chrome yellow vert on some '99+ Saleen 18x9 F & 18x10 R)

Personally I feel that 2 inch drop it's too much because really only ricers drop there cars that low.

I have the H&R supersport springs. If you drop the car that much you should replace the struts & shocks. You will also need c/c plates. The H&R springs give a great ride and lowers the car the best that I have seen.

    97 Cobra springs

Here is a 97 Cobra w/ the FRPP springs. Also has C/C plates which slightly raised the top mounting point of the strut which kept it's full movement. Bump steer was within spec.

Runs 3/4 negative camber on the street and easily adjusts to 3 degrees negative for open track. I find all Fox body Mustangs like allot of caster.
