If I was to allow the torque converter to store more energy by
attempting a "power brake" start, I would simply sit there and
"burn the rubber off," as you so sussinctly put it. I will avoid
the obvious comment regarding your picture.
Anyway, I really need wheels, and tires. I will try another source
for suggestions, and information.

If you need an answer to a question, I suggest posting in the 2nd generation forum, with a topic like, need answers on better tire, gear cobination, I was just mearly having fun, I know a power brake wouldnt work, on a rear wheel drive pickup.............. There are plenty of people willing to help you here, including myself.

Well,

I guess since I have only taken a deposit, and the car is still in my possession, I should be pretty far up there.

99 Cobra, 100% Streetable,

For those that were asking, that was at 3635lbs. NO TRANSBRAKE either. The car cut only a 1.67 60', with the 5 speed, i was cutting 1.51's.

I have no doubt with a transbrake the car would have seen low 10.3's to high 10.2's

btw, my lightning is running 12.91
