Whole ordeal is shitty but kinda nice. Able to have the time to finish up what I needed to get done to the car. Couldn't find a decent shop that would do 8.50 cage without raping. So fabbing it up myself. Just have 2 bars to weld in left. Impressed, able to fully weld everything and have a tight fit. Had to buy a low pro torch for some spots.
Next, switch over to c02, parachute, and axle upgrade. Knocked off a few pounds off her also when doing the cage install. Can't believe how much that damn dash weights by itself. Going to miss my heat n a/c though. lol

^Whereabouts are you in WI? I'd certainly remember if I saw your car especially with a setup like that.
Any of you guys get together for cruises/events? I know unfortunately we can’t now but taking your car for a drive is definitely social distancing!

I participated in a couple last season. Wide variety of cars in the group. The organizer (Joel) posts on here when there's an event coming up.
I hosted a little get together last summer that was a success. We called it Cars and Coors. lol I don't like coffee and it wasn't going to happen on a Sunday morning. Basically got 15-20 car friends together at the house to hang out and suck beer on a nice Saturday afternoon. No shenanigans since, after all, I have to live there. I've been asked to do it again, but obviously haven't put much thought into it at this point given the circumstances.

I’m hoping to make it to Joel’s event in the fall if it’s still on. Can’t make it to the one in June, but the way crap is going I doubt it won’t be canceled anyway.
I'm 0 for 2 on the cruise portion of his events from last year. Somehow I always end up at a light and having to chase after the person in front of me who then decides to turn or hit an off ramp at the last second. I ended up beating everyone to the meet point last time cuz I was forced to go straight there. Damn Ferrari I was chasing down cut off a few cars and hit the Delafield exit. I wasn't willing to even attempt what he did. ha
No kidding, too funny. I had a pucker up moment on the June cruise last year. I got onto the interstate right next to a cop and got separated from the pack. Then i realized i had a bunch of cars following my lead. So there i was driving and trying to figure out the route on my phone so I knew what exit to take lol. Between me and my brother behind me we were able to find the way and catch up.
Glad I'm not the only one! They all probably roll their eyes now when they see us show up to the meets. lol
Finished welding. Just need to finish painting. Didn't realize painting was more of a pain then the fab.
They closed the shop, but Marv is still wrenching out of his garage at home.

I keep coming across a few decent Terminators on marketplace lately. Maybe broaden your search to include SE WI and see what pops up?
