Will a GT exhaust fit my cobra

GT tailpipes turn down, and also, will sit too high, actually be behind the bumper. Would have to lengthen the hanger about 3 inches IIRC. Same with LX tailpipes, will sit too high..

Cobra tailpipes come straight out..

so is it worth the hassle, I looked on CJ pomy parts and there flowmaster catback says it is for a lx/cobra.

Im trying to get the whole catback and h-pipe for $200.

Ignore whatever your looking at. Bottom line is Dave is right.

You can take any LX catback setup and modify it very simply. A few guys use the kit as is and use a different rubber grommet that is longer to get the right height. If you've got access to a welder, just grab some mild steel bar of the same diameter as the hangers and bend the general "L" shape you need and weld them to the hangers that are already welded to the tailpipes. There's no sense in trying to remove the existing ones as you'll F' them up. It's super easy and won't be noticed unless you climb under the car.
