Did the tint conform to the dot pattern around the perimeter of the rear windows? Or did it leave small gaps around each dot?

Your car looks great! But IMO 20% is way too dark for the windshield...that's not safe. I went 50% on my windshield, 15% (which is actually 18%) everywhere else and it is hard to see at night in unlighted areas. I am now very careful to fully stop at stop signs when making a turn in the neighborhood so I don't accidentally run over someone walking their dog, etc. at night.

I don't have my windshield tinted but the rest of my car has 5% all around. Same color combo as OP.

Looks great OP.

Can't get around that matrix unless you do like my bud and have it tinted from the outside:nonono:

Looks clean when standing on top of it and you really can't see those dots from 3 feet away......

That 20% tint looks AWESOME on your black Shelby!!! Looking at getting mine done soon. Gonna go 20% too. Really makes the car look sinister...

Have 20's, and 50% windshield. love it. Range Rover has 5% front doors and 10% on stock tint. 35% windshield - NOW THATS DARK!

Car looks great. I have the same color combo. I wish I could go that dark, but the police state here in SC will not allow it. I guess in a bigger city where the LEO's have something to do, :poke:I could get away with it.

All I had time before winter storage was springs and tint on my blk vert and it made the car look sinister!

Too bad for the folks that have strict laws. I believe in NY, we're allowed 35% but I haven't ran into any issues in the last 10 years (knock on wood)

Here's a shot with the sun beaming down (roof shade was open) you can see light transmission through the passenger side window, so daytime = no issues. Night time isn't so bad either

I went with 20% as well but did the ceramic stuff. It's easier to see out with that type of tint, especially at night and the difference in temps inside the car on a warm day are noticeable, especially if I put up my front shade.

Planning on getting mine done and went to see Dalo last night.

Their best is a 3M product called "Crystalline". They have a heat lamp display that makes a great argument for it, but the stuff is twice the money.

They use a 40% crystalline and he said it is legal in Missouri.

Anyone else use this stuff?

E

PS I want to get protection on the rockers with a clear cover, anyone good in St. Louis?
