SOLD 8/17/13

I'm listing my 1996 Cobra for sale. The car has 158,XXX miles. Paint, interior, and drivetrain are all in very good shape. Car was originally black w/black leather. Body smoothed and painted Ford Kona Blue in 2010. Forged engine and trans were built by Jake Lamotta himself (I used to P/T for him at Lamotta Performance in Longwood, FL). Car is in Waynesville, MO. $7,000. Without the Griggs K-member and A-arms I'll do $6500.

These pics don't do the paint justice, as Kona Blue is a gorgeous dark blue/purple metallic that pops best under lights at night. I bought the car from the original owner outside of Atlanta in 2003 with 50K on it. Car looks great and drives well. Suspension was set up with firm (but not harsh) springs and poly bushings for autocross. Transmission shifts smoothly in all gears. Exterior and exhaust get compliments often. I built this car when I was single with the intention of taking it to autocrosses and HPDE’s, but my career and family have kept the car from ever seeing a course.

I’m selling the car as-is for $7000. If you're looking to save a few bucks, I can put the stock k-member and arms back in and let it go for 6500. Stick a power adder on it and have a blast.
