So before we get car presents for Christmas, what do you guys plan on doing to your car this winter?
For those without winter, GTFO :)

For my car:
1) custom tune goal 1000+rwhp pump E85, more on C85 race tune
2) test NX spray bar system on dyno
3) 17x11 beadlocks with 315/50 MTs
4) A-pillar gauges and shift light
5) cup holder switches and dual mode exhaust
6) custom revalve Bilsteins for street/strip

Real goal is to run 9s off trailer in spring
Bring on 2019 :)

Winter is >6 months here so plenty time to get it right. Block is at darton right now getting sleeved. When it gets back putting in diamond pistons, manley H beams, keying crank, bad ass hardware and bearings, porting heads, valve job, bullet cams, return fuel system, switching to e85, mcleod RXT. Probably forgetting some things....

Sounds like some exciting mods coming up for you.

I just had some Stainless Works long tubes, smaller pulley, Steeda Adjustable Motor Mounts and JLTintake installed. I told myself I wasn’t going to do long tubes for awhile, that lasted for about 6 months. Merry Christmas to me.

Side note. For those debating the Steeda Adjustable Motor Mounts, a few notes for you. They did increase some NVH, as expected, between 1200-1800rpm, can’t notice a huge difference after that. The car shifts much much cleaner after the install. The mounts helped a lot with the dreaded issue with the 1-2 shift. My car is already loud with the Griggs GR40 suspension kit installed. Definitely happy with the result.

Have to talked to this guy twice at Bilstein PRI booth. This year I have the spare set and I’ll let you know after we have a plan as he could do this custom for your needs. Only 2 modes aren’t ideal, but I’ll take it as street/strip compromise.

Finish my new motor mainly for the billet crank and turn it up. Stock crank wasn’t happy with the 4.2 and 1200 wheel.
Finish my suspension , and hopefully get my 8s pass

Gen3 TVS, DD149, KB168, KB Bigun IC.

Get it back on the dyno for a pump 93 and MS109 tune. Looking for at least 1,000 on the race tune and breaking into the 9s next spring as well.

Sounds bad ass.
What fuel for race tune? What is existing blower?

Tires for my new wheels. Debating going with 275/40 vs. 285/35 Nitto NT555 G2.

Go 285/35 front. What is rear plan 305/35 or 315/35/20?
I love my 315/35/20 4.10 combo, only 2000rpm at 80mph and hooks well.

Oh, should've said I'm going square for the road course. Those are 10" wheels BTW.
I can go 305 but I'm gonna need spacer for the fronts, and I still plan on using the car as a DD
