Worth replacing bushings or new sway bar?

Front sway bar on a base gt 6spd I want a bit of handling improvement,since the oem bar is thick enough is it worth it to replace rubber bushings with energy suspension polyurethane bushings or should I just buy a bar that is set up already?
Anyone done this (remove rubber bushings and install poly?) difficulty?

Good thought but I never did it. On the gt500 I did the frpp handling kit that came with new sway bars an bushing.
