I may need a more practical daily driver (read lots of miles in the car with clients) so I went and test drove a MM. Let me say if you can get an 03 Cobra guy to smile and laugh out loud, that an accomplishment.

Needless to say I think my search is over! Those things rock!

True, I am looking at one w 18.8k they have it listed at $25k, but I think I can get it down to 20ish, at that price I'll be keeping the Cobra.

Any idea of the value aith that mileage?

Do some searching for comparables.

Might fiind even a better deal if you're willing to travel a bit.

Offered trade!

I offered to trade him my 2004 DTR MM straight across for his 03
Cobra. He wants to keep the Cobra and get a MM also....WE know that
trying to find a new one now is getting real hard. I wish him and anyone else

They won't move on the sticker price? I got mine in January brand new and it was $9000 off sticker! That's Canadian $ but still not sticker. Plus I just got my free MM leather jacket.

There was a brand new, leftover 2003A MM up in Vermont. That was back in early February. I got my car up there.

One thing you are guaranteed to have is paint issues on the early MMs. They just did a piss poor job of painting them. However, you should have no problem getting it covered under warranty.

Have you taken a look over on the MercuryMarauder.net? Lots of information over there on the cars.

I, like you, fell in love with these cars. Unfortunately I had to get rid of my '03 Cobra to get one.

Thanks, I going to go with an 04 DTR, the only option I want is a sunroof and possibly the darker interior. I found a couple I'm looking at now (one in Houston and one in New York). I hope to purchase it by the end of April, so if anybody sees any clean MM's with low miles (<10,000) PM me!
