x-pipe and catback question

what size tubing should i go with on a off road x and catback for my 04 mach? 2.5 or 3" ?????????

go with a 2.5" piping cause of two things, 1) is that most likely u dont make enough power to justfy anything larger and 2) i beleve thier are only two compines that make 3" exhaust systems that arent custom pecies and them being MAC and Flowmaster.

Also if you want to run say 10.5 wide rims and 315 tires out back, 3inch catback would not clear the inside of the tire. My Back rims have a 28mm offset and they are really close to my stingers out back and without that offset I would have serious rubbing issues.
