X pipe with stock exaust?

Anyone have that setup? What are the gains (pros + cons)

I had it for about an hour, off road X...... it sounded pretty exotic, as far as the gains I am biased because my cats were plugged up, felt like a different car...

Thats what I was thinking about doing also. However, I HATE throwing away perfectly good (new) parts. So this thing would have to perform. Plus I hear its about $500 (ouch)?

Not sure its worth it... I dont want loud, I live in a pretty nice neighborhood and respect my neighbors...

I dont have so much respect for my neigbors, but I dont want to piss them off. I just like having a decent conversation once in a while with my girlfriend... I remember the last mustang I had with a cat back, couldnt hear a damn thing in the cockpit...
