I know this isn't a FGT related question but it's similar to a GT40 question

does anyone know where I can find a ZF transaxle for cheap?

Every where I've looked people want 10k+

Contact some of the kit car builders or get on their forums. Like Factory Five or Superlite Cars. That'd be your best bet, I imagine.

i've tried SLC, they use a Porsche trans-axle in all of their cars :/

i'd imagine F5 uses the FGT transmission

No such animal!

Your only real chance of finding a "cheap" ZF box is to get really lucks, or find one that needs rebuilding. Maybe try searching for Pantera parts and you might get lucky.

Ricardos are not made anymore, but they turn up from time to time, and are pricy. Expect ~$15k

RCR/SL (makers of the SLC) use several tranny combos. not just Porsce. Audis, Porsce, Ricardo, RBT/ZF, Graz

RBT is making new versions of the ZF as well as some variants. Also pricy and with long wait times.
