I think they look nice, buy I have to agree about them being in an inconvenient place to really use them for monitoring vital things.

Nah man, like I said, it is just like glancing up at the rearview. No more inconvieniant than glancing over at the a-pillar, just the opposite direction. That is a normal direction you glance anyway is your rearview.
