I just pulled my intercooler core and found the following engraved on it. Appears to read:
CO396A5 possibly CO396AS?
717874-003
NOV-21-12

Then the core seems to be sealed with a whitish sealant to the frame. It still has all the factory stamping so not sure if this is due to a modification or repair?

Any OGs remember something like this from 2012?

Thanks for the help.

The white sealant looks stock to me. Every stock one I have seen has some engraving on it too, I've never paid attention to what it says though.

Thanks. Stock water tube size. Looks like it’s just part of the original markings.

The stock intercoolers all had those markings. The only mod to them is increasing the inlet and outlet. If you were to upgrade, the vmp unit is currently the best.
