Halfshaft seals on wheel end

Has anyone replaced the seal on the wheel bearing end of the halfshaft? There is a part number on mine E9SC-2217-AA.
There is grease coming out and I suspect the wheel bearing seal is the culprit, but I was wondering if the halfshaft seal has been an issue for anyone. I don't see any sign of a tear or other damage to the seal.

If I understand you correctly the seal you speak of is just a dust seal.

It doesn't seal the grease in the bearing because it's a sealed bearing.

You need to replace the bearings themselves. Depending on how you drive your car be prepared to replace the hubs too as they tend to get chewed up.

The hubs can be found at FTBR. You Dan buy the bearings there too but they are cheaper at rock auto.

Make sure you get good tapered bearings. I went with Timken for mine. And if it's the first time they been replaced expect them to be a little stubborn coming out.
