Hello, Mine is in the process of a rebuild and currently being put back together. The rubber cross over hose that connects the two fuel rails is cracked where it mounts to the rail. It's the stock original fuel rail. So my question is can you just replace the rubber hose with some fuel line and hose clamp it or should you replace the entire rail. I was wondering with the fuel pressure on these if it would pose some risk just replacing the hose. I did see some OEMs on ebay that looked decent. There are aftermarket ones but they are pricey. Thanks in advance for any info.

Yes you can replace the crossover line.

There are a few options. The easiest one being a dorman fuel line repair kit you can get at the parts store.

It's nylon and minus the rubber coating is the same material as oem.

People make a big deal about it claiming it's hard to push on to the rail. It's not use a heat gun on both the rail and line and push it on.

The other options will require fuel injection hose clamps.
