JB's 03 Mach 1 Build Thread (Minor Updates 4-16-13)

Hey guys...I just picked up an 03 mach 1 for my next project...you may remember my 98 GT (recently sold):

Specs on the Mach:

2003 Mach 1
Black on charcoal
70,000 miles
5 spd
BBK o/r X
Borla Stingers
C&L intake
18" black bullitts (sold already...put stock wheels on)
03 cobra bumper (trying to sell/trade for GT or 99/01 bumper...PM me if interested)
Aftermarket fuel door (already traded for stock)

Looks clean. Never did like black Mach 1s though...don't stand out enough and look too GTish

If you look at his 98, he always stood out in a good way. Its tough to stand out on cobra platform because changing body parts almost feel sac religious, thats why most of them have forged wheels and nice drop to each his own.

Honestly after Eaton swapping my 01 cobra I wish that I would have saved more for an 03/04 cobra. It's such a pain dealing with an engine that can only take around 450-500whp.

To each their own...I'd rather build a unique Mach...then drive a stock 03 cobra.

Plus I like to buy my toys in cash...and an 03 cobra was out of my range at the moment, so Mach it is :beer:

Thanks guys...the 98 was a great car, but I was just ready for a new project. I sold it for top dollar...and I'm going to do this one bigger and better. The mach is a much better platform to start with.
