Paul, my old deck, about the same age as yours was, with a LOT of rot. More than I realized. We tore it down and went with a vinyl (TimberTech) deck over the pressure treated base. Here are a couple of photos of the new deck that was finished a little over a week ago.

I do remodeling etc, it wasn't my deck Bob.
The entire frame of the deck was rotted, not just the decking itself.
Looks like they did a nice job on yours.
My favorite combo for the plastic railings is white posts, white rails, and black spindles.

I missed that until I enlarged the photo. LOL. I'd like to know how the owner gets into the car, because the handle is duct-taped as far as I can tell. Looks like the door is completely covered with tape and actually taped to the body, all around. Weird!

I wonder how many levers and knobs the government wants you to have to push/pull/twist in order to get gas out of it. And filling it? Probably a whole afternoon I'd imagine. Now that I think about it, did you get a permit to store this much evil gas in your garage?

This just a precoffee rambling about how the govt ****ed up even the gas can. I'm not ragging on your choice of tank Klaus.
