Those headers were designed for the new 5.0 and after extensive R&D it was found that those engines thrive with a Mid Length header so that is what we build for them.

Nothing wrong with the design. I ran a set of BBK mid-length headers on my 2011 and was more than happy with the performance gain.

When someone goes against the "grain" or doesn't "follow the herd", they tend to get ridiculed.
