Since the Brembo option was not available on the CS, I decided to upgrade to Brembo's myself.

Here's how it went.

I ordered up the calipers and hardware kits from ac427cobra
. (Thanks Bruce!)

I decided on some cross drilled/slotted/zinc plated rotors. Nothing too fancy as this car will see mostly street duty.

The calipers are the stock Ford Brembo calipers.

Here is the hardware kit. You need one kit per side.

The stock brakes were OK, but they left some desire once they were uncovered by the new True Forged wheels.

The new brakes went on very easy.

Here you can see the hardware kit installed.

The new calipers were actually lighter than the stock 2 piston calipers.

They fill out the new 20" True Forged wheels well and look much better than the stock brakes.

Overall I was very happy on how they turned out. I even got new rear rotors to match the fronts.

I would have got some better shots but it was raining here in Dallas today. Maybe tomorrow will bring some better weather and I will get some shots outside.

Raining in Dallas is an understatement! Brakes and wheels look great! Looking forward to seeing some more pics.

I just looked up the caliper with part numbers and looks around $286.00 for just one. If anyone comes up with a package price I might buy a set in a few months ?

You should be able to find calipers @ ~ $200 ea. new. And NO core charge. Take offs would probably be less if you can bide you time and shop around. I've found non-bling rotors ~ $100/pr. (w/ free shipping).

Thanks all. PM's sent.

I just reused the stock brake lines.

I have had a bad experience in the past with stainless steel lines and would rather not go through that again. Plus my car will only see street duty so not really going to see/feel/notice a difference in the lines anyway.
