Super easy

Jack up the car by the diff. Place a couple jack stands in front of the LCA's. Keep the diff supported by the jack, unbolt the sway bar from the upper bolts that connect to the body. Then unbolt the rear shocks at the bottom. Lower the diff slowly. Pull old springs out, put new springs in and reverse the installation of the sway bar and shocks.

Probably take you 30 minutes.

*edit* Here you go. For a more indepth description with pics check out the link and click on the Rear Install: http://blog.latemodelrestoration.com/s197-mustang-spring-strut-shock-install/

I did the same only didn't unbolt the sway bar. I did unbolt the brake line brackets though.

Super easy. I think I did mine in 20 minutes.
