Another tire question..Michelin Pilot SS/ Michelin Pilot sport ps2

The super sports come in the stock size but the pilot sport ps2's come in 295-35-20. Says they should be on a 10"-11.5" rim. They are also $530 a tire. Are they better than the SS's and from what I read I think it would be ok to go to a 295 on the stock rim?

PS2s are getting phased out hence the high price. The Super Sports are the replacements and are priced much cheaper.

They would fit fine if you don't lower the car. If you lower it the tires will rub the fenders. I personally would go with the MPSS.
