I'm hoping to get some good answers on seat care for our lightnings. Not just stain removal but general upkeep and maintenance. I bought an 03 and want to keep it looking fresh. what do you use to keep it soft? Thanks guys!

The best thing to do is use a high quality 100% cotton towel on your seats, and
maybe wash it every two weeks(depends on how much you use the L).

Some seat covers can actually chafe your seats without you even knowing it
(until it's too late).So I like using a towel.

As far as chemicals go.....try not to use them.Try water with a cotton washcloth.
Maybe very diluted simple green and water with a washcloth if it's really nasty.

Don't clean the seats if they don't need cleaning.

what if the seat foam is broken down a little from excessive weight? I don't know who the original owner was big but the driver side right lower front is wrinkled and smashed down a little.

Water and a cotten cloth is all I ever use, along with a nice big helping of elbow grease.

Interior still looks super clean to this day, but I do clean it every week....(Oh and yes I smoke in it on top of that....)
