Posting here also. Viper 5th (.75) and 6th (.50) gears for sale to fit our tranny's.
They are in excellent shape, still in the car. They worked great when i had 4.10's but with 3.55's they lower the rpms too much for high speed runs. 350.00 plus shipping
Rpms at 80mph with 3.55's and .50 is about 1750.
Rpms at 80mph with 3.55's and .63 is about 2300.
Rpms at 80mph with 4.10's and .50 is about 2100.
Rpms at 80mph with 4.10's and .63 is about 2700

What is involved with installing these gears. Is this just a press off press on job? If a shop has to do it, if you dont mind telling what did it cost you to have them installed??

Yes they are press on and off. You can do them if you have the ability. Most shops charge 250-350 to take apart a t56 and swap gears like that, they also usually change other things while you're in there for that price like clips and pads, as well as checking for any damage.
I'd put a synch rebuild kit in at the very least and change the keys etc while ur there.
