I have a 4lb lower and crank pulley is lose and making a racket any heard of these doing that? Should i tighten it up and see what happens or is it more serious than just a lose damper nut. Just for reference the pulley is secured to the plate but its the damper part that is lose.

You know the answer is to investigate the cause. An aftermarket hub can also come loose from the dampner. So that is a possibility if you have an aftermarket lower set-up.

Was one of the three hex bolts that hold the hub on was about 4 turns out. Tighten it up noise went away tom taking them all off and putting lock tight on them so this shit don't happen again.
