I sold my 2009 Shelby GT500 and bought the Formula. Wished I would have held on to it, but am trying to buy a house and didn't need a huge payment every month. I'm looking for a very nice 1987-1993 foxbody (coupe preferred), SN95, new edge, or Terminator. Supercharged or turbo would definitely be a plus. Just let me know what you have! All I can say is no thanks. Will trade up or down depending. I have sold a 93 turbo Cobra and a 03 Terminator here.
Alright guys, I admit I have a problem!!!!!!!!! I have finally realized I'm just a plain and simple Ford guy that has a car addiction!!!!!!! Does TLC do interventions for car addicts?!?!?!? I miss my Stangs, especially the Shelby! The Formula is an awesome car but it just feels really big to me. Anyways here's the rundown:
The car is a hardtop, ebony cloth interior in mint condition, heat & a/c work perfectly, monsoon stereo system is in excellent working condition.
6 speed with Hurst "short stick", no traction control option, the car has been upgraded to a WS9 hood & functional WS6 ram air box/lid, smooth bellow.
MSD wires, NGK TR55's
SLP long tube headers with emissions
2.5" True duals with Dynomax bullets dumped
Power steering cooler (nhra option)
All the lights have been smoked with trans black mixed in clear coat(fogs,driving,tail lights)
17x9,17x11 ZR1's brand new, 295/45/17 MT ET street II's in the rear and Nitto's 275/40/17 NT555's upfront all brand new (not used)
I have a brand new set of Eibach springs that need to be installed (not going to install at this price!)
Body is in perfect condition. No dents or dings whatsoever.
It was painted within the last year.
Never in an accident. Clean carfax.
Only issues are because of the 28" tires it will trip the brake/abs light on at 45mph because of the wheel speed sensor (not bad just running larger tires), and is throwing a code for o2 sensor.
******Update******I replaced both upstream O2 sensors and fixed an exhaust leak where the pollution tube merges with the header. Had a missing/not installed bolt. No CEL, runs like a champ!!!!!!!
Headlight mechs work great no problems.
Alll options function.
No infamous interior/door panel cracks!
Does not leak a drop of any fluids.
Runs and drives perfect, looks immaculate! Sounds awesome.
Get tons of compliments on it! Definitely a head turner! The Ws9 hood and paint are worth the asking price, you get the rest free!!!!!!!
I don't have to sell it!!!! Just wanting to get into something I really want. If it doesn't sell or I don't find something I really want to trade for I'll just throw a cam, ported heads, tune, 4.10's, and nitrous in it and make a hell of a street/strip car!
I really can't tell you how nice the paint and interior is. You would have to see it for yourself. Pics below are from when I picked it up over the July 4th weekend. Looks exactly the same. I can get any pics you like though. just let me know what you want.
