I am the original owner of my 2001 Cobra, drove it right off the showroom floor. 65,000 miles later, I'm convinced that I will probably always own this car as it is has been fantastic, plus the fun is just beginning as I have collected a bunch of Vortech parts for a T trim project. I just got my hands on a used 04 cobra fuel tank, pumps and FPDM, so the power boost is coming soon! I do have thoughts about a 2010 GT500 hard top in Kona blue, but that would be an addition to the garage, not a replacement for the 2001!:burnout:
2nd owner, Bought 2881 from the original owner September 30, 2003. 26,253 miles on the odometer. Registered here 10 days later. Current mileage 52,212 miles. 3,708 miles per year average. Killed one T45 along the way, T56 is proving more difficult to kill.
Wish I would've gotten the apology jacket with the car or known about it when I bought the car so I couldve asked about it.
Original owner, 195,000 miles. Bought Dec 28th 1998. Just had the ENTIRE driveline done to handle 750+ hp. Spared no expense. Proline, Promotion and MPH etc. Gonna be buried in it!
I'm, the third owner. I've owned it longer than the first 2 owners combined, though. Got my '99 in late '02 with just over 20k miles. Like Yloow98SVT, I currently intend to keep this car running until I die. That could change, but with the frest motor rebuild, I'm in it for at least 10 more years probably.
