It's breezy here in Northern Colorado today.

News report from about 10 minutes ago stated the craft was sited 2 miles east of Evans. If that's the case, the craft has already traveled more than 40 miles southeast of it's origination point.

Hope they are able to save the kid without injury.

Knowing myself as an inquisitive child. What if said boy accidentally untethered the balloon, then "ran away" fearing punishment? This I think would be the best outcome.

If not, I guess it's time to start searching the flight path.

Still hoping they find the kid alive and well.

They are now saying that they don't think he ever was in the balloon and that he is probably back home somewhere. I think Torch was right, he untethered it, then shit his pants and took off.

being reported that he was in a box on the balloon that is no longer there. Officials have a picture of the box on the balloon above the boys neighborhood.

Others have said that the balloon was not large enough to lift the boy... so the verdict is still out.
