I've wanted to get my rear wheels widened a while back to fit a 345 tire but i was afraid they wouldn't fit without a mini tub, i finally had Weldcraft wheels widen a pair of 18x10 FR500 replicas to 12.5'' and put a 345/30/18 BFG drag radial, i had them powdercoted satin black after that and added a red pinstripe ''time attack'' style.
Here are the pics and the mods i had to do to make them fit...:beer:
No tire bulge!
....and here's what i had to cut...
..I used an angle grinder to trim the wheel well where it curves back out towards the outside of the car, also fabbed up a new bracket for the E brake cable to pull it in and clear the tires, didn't get any pics of it though,
Added 1/2'' Spacers, it's a tight fit but it doesn't rub at all!
