Well I'm sad to inform everyone that a great friend was killed suddenly last night. Ben Towle just purchased a 2003 cobra and put a lot of time and work into it to get it set up right. After all his hard work it put down 704hp to the wheels. Cars were a big part of his life.

He was working on his Cobra last night putting the new clutch in his car when the vehicle shifted and it fell on top of him crushing him. He yelled for help but those around were unable to get the car off of him and when paramedics arrived he was pronounced dead. I am so grateful that I had the chance to be his friend and only wished that I could have been there with him last night.

He was a hell of a guy and would never hesitate to help you out. He was always a friendly guy and it is sooo terrible that he had to leave this world but god must have bigger plans for him now.

Car falls on, kills man at southeast side apartments

God speed Ben. You will always be in my heart! This one's for you

Wow. Hurts to read even if I didn't know him. Working on something you love and it taking you out. I pray he knew the Lord. r.i.p.

OMG, that's awful.

Everyone, remember to use the e brake and chaulk the tires before climbing under. Jack stands too.

It happened to me luckily my car was a classic so it stood high off the ground. But no jack stands and no tire blocks = Russian roulette,... Please dont forget about this!

RIP

Thats really crappy news. I've talked to him(if he's the one who's owned that car for several years) a time or two on here. Remember talking to him in a Terminators with a spoiler delete thread one time I believe. Very, very sad news.

RIP.

That is horrible news.....I did not know him but talked to him once before on here. I did the polishing work on the Canton Overflow tank and Coil Covers on this car. Very sad to hear this.

RIP Ben.
