I’m pleased to announce that SVTP will now be offering a Premium Membership upgrade. This has been in the works for the past few months and I think you guys will be happy with it.

The list of benefits is subject to change at any time. It is likely that more features will be added in the future as we are currently working on a few. It is priced at $45 per year. All SVTP rules will still apply to Premium Members as they would to any other member. The Premium Membership fee is non-refundable.
The proceeds will be used for the future projects, along with further upgraded servers. I feel this is a much better option than whoring out the site to advertisers like so many other sites do. Also, I don't want to just charge $45 per year for a t-shirt and sticker. My ultimate goal is to carry the SVTP experience onto the road. I'd like to have a trailer setup in a lot of the country's largest events and have a hospitality tent area set up for all the members to BS and get something to eat and drink courtesy of SVTP. I'm also currently researching the possibility of putting on 2 annual SVTP meets (separate East Coast and West Coast meets with the possibility of expanding into Texas). The Premium Membership revenues would be directed towards goals such as that.

Also when searching it has to be 4 or more letters, so when searching for BBK or MAC or Oil Pump it doesnt work too well and wondering if the search will be more specific as well as more results?

what position does a non SVT owner hold on membership? Are the events/cruses/shows for SVT people only? Is it looked down upon, like if I had a Mach 1 to go to an SVT event?
So we get limited seatch results, no attachments, and 60 second delays in posting/searching?
