If you search you will find some pretty informative posts, this comes up every other month or less as a topic.

The Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon are must see items. Red Rock Canyon because it is so beautiful and has lots of easy day-hikes, and the Hoover Dam because it is just mind-boggling.

Gambling: This is what worked for my wife & me: set a hard limit on the total amount you are willing to lose. When you reach that number, you are done, walk out of the casino and do not bet another penny. You can gamble any winnings you may accrue, but not one cent over your total loss budget.

Vegas is cool as hell just to walk sown the strip and check out the casinos, that alone is worth several hours entertainment, especially at night.

Stay somewhere towards the middle of the strip so you're not walking 5 miles or catching a cab all the time.

x11ty billion.

I was there last week.

We stayed at the MGM which is pretty much the end of the hotels. Stay in the middle, like the Mirage, Wynn, Treasure Island, Cesears, Bellagio, Paris etc.

You will walk everywhere, seriosuly, i walked for 3 days straight, it sucked but it was still fun.

If you just want to get drunk and have some time to waste, play penny slots and get the waitress's to bring you free drinks, as long as you keep playing they wont care how many drinks they bring you. Its easy to get drunk nice and fast in a casino. Just remember when to call it quits as you might end up blowing all your cash when you move to 1$ slots.

Check out the Bellagio water show for sure, they usually play good music with it and its really nice. Walk past the "city center" area, the sheer size of the project is amazing and is pretty crazy.

If you plan on having a nice dinner, go to the Wynn, its not cheap but they have an outdoors patio kind of thing with a massive pool in front of it, its all closed off from the strip and they have a show every 15 minutes or something. The atmosphere was pretty amazing there.

Margaritaville is a good place to party if your into the beach lifestyle and dont mind lounging on the roof-top patio.

The bus system "the duece" is pretty awful, its unefficient and never on time and always packed. But if you stay at one end of the strip and want to get to the other fast, its the best way.

Check out Strip burger, i think its just past Cesaers palace and the forum shops. The Burgers are pretty cheap, less than 10 bucks and are REALLY good, their blue cheese burger is to die for.

Most importantly, drink too much, party too much, sit in the sun, and enjoy your stay.

Go to the Palms and hit the Ghostbar. Chicks dig it. Great views and a really nice bar. Go around 11PM then walk over to the Playboy club in the other Palms tower. Very cool.
