Ecoboost oil?

Hey does anyone know what oil they ran in the Ecoboost engine that Ford tried to destroy 448AA? Thanks

I would have to say Motorcraft is a stout oil. Wonder if it was a special blend for the heat and high rpm's of the turbos. Whatever the case it's impressive.

Did they finally destroy that motor? Thats the same one that did some crazy dyno runs, some endurance driving, then hauled a boat n shit, then did Baja racing right?

It is my understanding that during those tests, Ford is durability testing the engine and supporting components not the oil.

I am also pretty sure, as good as a Motorcraft synthetic blend oil is, that they were changing it as it often as it needed it.

It's a pretty good oil for what it is, but it's the product the oil was going into that was the HERO, not the oil.
