Are Chevy guys douchebags?

I didn't post this in smackdown because I do not want to trash on Chevy guys. I just want to see if others have had my same experience. I'm talking hardcore Chevy guys, not the kind that would buy whatever is cool that year.

My question comes from my experience of dealing with Government Motors people. I had a boss who was a Chevy guy. All of the fleet were Chevy's. He is a douchebag. I had a friend (I stress Had) that was a Chevy guy, turned out to be a douchebag. What is your experience?

No. I have friends in the Honda, Mustang, Chevy, Volkswagen and Dodge worlds. My friends are cool, as are some of the people who hang out with them that I don't really know. Some at the meets however, are douches.

Every make has a following and like sports or anything competitive, some of the followers are smart, levelheaded beings and others are just down right retarded at times.

There's douchebags in every corner. GM, Ford, Dodge, Domestic, Import, Euro, etc.

Out company is pretty GM-centric but at the time they went with GM for their fleet vehicles, it wasnt like Ford was doing any better. My girls company on the other hand was all Dodge for their fleet vehicles up until last year, they moved to good ol' Ford. All branch managers have F150 Ecoboosts or 5.0's (their choice). How sick is that?

Sadly I know two people who own 2010 camaros who a douches but the fact that they own them doesn't make them a "douche", it's who they are.

Its a pretty big blanket statement that they are all douchebags. I think there should be a sometimes option. Every brand has their douchebag followers but it seems like the hardcore followers attract each other. One cannot let the other bash the brand and the flame war starts. Both sides walk away from such confrontations saying, "Man, <insert brand here> followers are douchebags!". Then they start threads like this. :rolling:

There are just as many nut swinging turds in the Chevy crowd as there are in the Ford crowd. Having a little bit of brand loyalty is cool, and playfull joking is cool too. Like that video running around about the Chevy owners on an emotional roller coaster. It's funny, but it's not serious. I like to believe that most people on SVTP are into fast cars period, with a little bit of personal preference to drive a Ford but that doesn't mean they wouldn't consider a car from another manfacturer if it was better and as affordable as what they drive. Which is why you see a handfull of guys bounce back and forth between Ford and Chevy.

If you look from a completely outside view, aka imports or trucks whatever, I think most people would say that Mustang guys are the biggest douches because they tend to be younger. Chevy and mopar guys are more known to be rednecks and the like, while Mustangs are known for younger men and high school girls.
