I'm looking for a demo GT500 (preferably a show car) for us to build a rearview mirror with built in V1 Radar/Lidar detector similar to the one seen below for a 2010 Camaro.
In order to make this work I need pics of the mirror and overhead console asap, and I need a mirror and an overhead console for 7-10 days along with a V1.
We can do this with pretty much any car, but it's a real PITA because we have to do each car a different way. So if we're going to do this we'd need at least 5 commitments up front. As for pricing, depending on what the insides look like and if you wish to retain the dimming function cost can vary. It's only when I have to use dimming glass from a Euro mirror to make yours work that cost gets relatively high. I can't set final pricing until I do the first one and figure out how long it will take for this specific mirror but I would expect it to be in the $850-$1200 range. Quality is top notch and it takes a lot of time, patience and steady hands to do these right.

If interested please let me know. Yes we can do 03/04 Cobras as well if there are 5+ interested.

Thanks
Let me know what angles you need and I'll have some photos taken. If the price is right, I might want one the our GT as well.

Email address? I'll have the shots sent tomorrow unless you get what you need before. I'm in Afghanistan so I'm depending on someone else to get them for me.
Is there an option to include the home link transmitter? Im looking at replacing the stock mirror with one from the same OEM builder but it has the homelink transmitter built in plus the compass and temperature. For the extra 200 dollars over the stock mirror Id have taken this over those gay interior lights Ford put in the car.

Good God man, just watch your ass over there, don't worry about the pics.

Depends on how much room is left in the mirror, I'll have a better idea after I see one (if someone is bored tonight and wants to post them in this thread I'm on Gulf hrs right now) and I will know for sure after we do the first demo. Hang tight, I'll let you know as soon as we know.
What is that panel that you have to attach to your roof though?
That's the OEM overhead console in a Camaro SS. We can move the knob to a multitude of places so it doesn't have to (though it's easiest and usually best) go there.
